Introduction of Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga, Karnataka
Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College is one of the oldest private medical colleges in Karnataka. The college was established in 1963 by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society and is popularly known as MRMC Gulbarga. It is considered one of the premium colleges in Karnataka and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is approved by NMC.
The college got recognition from the Medical Council of India in 1972. It was the second private medical college after KMC, Manipal to get this recognition. The college also got credit from the British Medical Council.
