At the qualifying examination, the candidate's cumulative marks in science subjects must have been at least 50%. English language proficiency is required, and applicants must be at least 17 years old.

Internal medicine, pediatrics, radiology, anesthesiology, dermatology, psychiatry, and emergency medicine are among the specialties covered in the three-year doctor of medicine program.

Master of Surgery, or MS a three-year program covering general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, and obstetrics and gynecology.

Two-year postgraduate diploma programs in Radiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Paediatrics. 

MS: An anatomy course lasting three years.

MD: A three-year program that covers pathology, microbiology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, forensic medicine, and community medicine.

A medical degree in medicine from any Indian medical college accredited by the Medical Council of India (MBBS) or an equivalent foreign degree accepted by the MCI is the prerequisite for all postgraduate and postgraduate diploma programmes.
