The final 20 questions cover general knowledge, aptitude, and logical reasoning.

INICET EXAM Counselling Process

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts the INICET exam counselling process for admission to various postgraduate courses in Indian medical and dental colleges. The counselling process is divided into three rounds, and candidates must be aware of the process to secure a seat in their desired course and college.

Registration: Candidates who have qualified for the INICET exam must register for the counselling process. Candidates must enter their personal and academic information during the registration process, which is done online.

Choice Filling: After completing the registration process, candidates must select their preferred courses and colleges. It is critical to prioritize the courses and colleges because seats will be assigned based on the candidate's rank and preference.

Seat Allotment: Seats are allocated based on the candidate's rank and preferred courses and colleges. The seat allotment process is done in rounds, and candidates who are assigned a seat must pay the admission fee and other fees.

Reporting to the Allotted College: Candidates who have been assigned a seat must report to the college of their choice on the specified date and time. They must bring all necessary documents and certificates for verification.

Second and Third Rounds of Counselling: If any seats remain unfilled after the first round of counselling, the second and third rounds will be held. Candidates who did not receive a seat in the first round of counselling may participate in subsequent rounds of counselling

INICET Counselling Documents Required

Candidates who have been assigned a seat in the INICET counselling process must bring the following documents with them:

  • INICET Exam Admit Card
  • INICET Exam Rank Card
  • Degree Certificate in MBBS/BDS
  • Certificate of Completion of Internship
  • Certificate of Category (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Transfer
  • Certificate of Migration
  • Certificate of Character
  • Photographs in Passport Size

The INICET exam counselling process is an important step for candidates who have passed the exam. Candidates must be aware of the counselling process, the documents needed, and the important dates to secure a seat in their desired course and college. To ensure a smooth and trouble-free admission process, candidates must keep all necessary documents and certificates on hand and stay up to date on the counselling process.
