Medical Counselling Committee, in its recent update, has released information for all aspirants who wish to seek admission through NEET PG 2024. The Medical Counselling Committee has reduced the eligibility percentile for NEET PG counselling after discussing the matter with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the National Medical Commission (NMC).
The crucial change in terms of eligibility relates to the following groups:
- In respect to General Category or EWS : Those candidates holding a percentile 15% above can participate in counseling.
SC/ST/OBC/PwD: The reduction has been for those holding at least 10% above and thus eligible. The aim for enhancing access so as to make even more students for pursuing post-graduate medical training.
Apply when you are accepted based on new percentile requirements You should keep monitoring the counselling schedules and all notifications through authentic platforms. Maintain Contacting through MCC Website All candidates should follow the official website of MCC from time to time at http//www.mcc.nic.in and National Board of Examinations NBE website at updates on counselling, schedule, scores, and cards.
